Day 3: Installed the drawer rails on Sunday and stopped work since it was blazing hot. Continued on Monday night in the nice cool weather and made the drawer. The whole drawer is working smoothly now.
Next task is to attach the drawer front, sand everything down and hopefully get on my first coat of stain.
