Media center ideas...

Here's a sketch up of a built-in for my media alcove. This one would work well for me since it would provide storage space (hide stuff inside the cabinets, and display stuff on shelves). It also wouldn't be too difficult to build. The only draw back would be that I would need to do most of the construction in my own home. Since my dad is using my tools for the remodel of their home, I kind of don't want to move all the tools back and forth to share them. I will need to do lots of shopping to plan this out anyway, so I will still have something to do.
